This year, I kept my Christmas baking simple but still super cute by using store-bought cookie dough and cutting out shapes with my favorite star and snowflake cookie cutters. Honestly, it was the easiest holiday win.
Easy Dough, Festive Shapes
Instead of mixing ingredients and making dough from scratch, I chilled the ready-made dough for a bit, rolled it out, and started cutting out stars and snowflakes. It felt festive without being stressful — my kind of holiday baking.
Baking & Decorating
After cutting out all the shapes, I popped them into the oven until they were lightly golden around the edges. Once they cooled, I added a little icing and some sprinkles to make them sparkle. Even plain, the shapes already looked so pretty and wintery.
Why I Loved This
Baking Christmas cookies doesn’t have to be complicated to feel special. Using store-bought dough saved time, but the cookie cutters still made everything feel homemade and festive. Plus, stars and snowflakes just feel like Christmas magic.
Sometimes the simplest traditions bring the most joy — warm cookies, cozy lights, and a kitchen full of holiday cheer. ✨
