Over the weekend the weather was perfect! I got the opportunity to go outside with no big poofy jacket and tights underneath my jeans! So you know what I decided to wear? Some ripped distressed jeans, a tank top, and a sweater vest. Coming from The Bahamas and never really experiencing cold... days like these remind me a little of home. The cold is something I really still have to get use to but I'm just so glad the weather for this shoot was beautiful. Hope you guys enjoy.

This week I wanted to do something extravagant with my hair. I searched pinterest for hair goals and pinned some ideas on what I wanted to create. The one hairstyle that stood out the most was a pull through braid. It took me about 30 minutes to do this. By the way, I had just blow dried my hair so it wasn't the easiest task. My favorite part while doing the hairstyle would have to be pulling out pieces of my hair to make it look plum and full! Here is my version of a pull through braid. Tell me what you guys think!

Can I admit that most of my closet is black clothes? Lol I’m obsessed with the color! I think black is so classic and a must have in any closet! So about this outfit right the total I spent on those four pieces was around $22.00. I know right! Like where did I find these items? When I shop I go straight to the back of the store without even looking at the clothes in the front, and trust if I’m goodwill shopping I go through every single piece of clothes until I find what I’m looking for. Now I’m not saying I don’t shop at the front of the store but I usually do that when I’m in a serious need for a particular piece like a white trench coat or a jean jacket; basically something I need right away. Below is where I got the items from.

Hat:
Goodwill

Top
Wet Seal

Skinny High-Waisted Jeans:
Goodwill (but its a forever21 brand)

Shoes:
Wet seal

How do you shop?

I always had the urge to start a blog, but it was something I kept putting off. At the end of last year I started to develop a cohesive theme on my Instagram page which sparked my interest in blogging again. It was something I began obsessing over! I wanted every picture to have some level of consistency or look like they belonged together. I realized that my Instagram needed the consistent feel in May but didn't figure out a theme I loved and felt expressed my personality until December 2016! While looking at Instagram themes and focusing on the types of posts I wanted to share with my followers, I felt like it was now or never for my blog. When 2017 rolled in I felt the pressure of writing down my goals for the New Year. I thought that I would have maybe three goals but in no time I had at least thirty! Like really Christina how you going to do this? But on January 3rd I started crossing items off my list and today I promise you 10 of these 30 goals are done! My three top goals were to rebrand 'Christina Darville Studios' (That's my Graphic Design business), create a personal blog, and to travel more. I really want to achieve every goal set for 2017 and I hope you stick with me through this process! My goal is to post at least once a week but if I can add a few more it would be perfect! Let me know what some of your goals for 2017.
